Establishing Motion Works Physical Therapy is the realization of a life-long dream for Mike. He had the privilege of working in Walpole as a student and always knew it would be a great community for establishing his own practice. His mission is to provide an active, healthy lifestyle to all of his patients through the caring, skillful and personalized application of high-quality physical therapy services.
Mike has trained at world-class institutions, including the Mayo Clinic and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He completed a two-year fellowship at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and is a full fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). This training enables Mike to provide the highest level of musculoskeletal care through advanced manual therapy practice. He is the only FAAOMPT in the Walpole area. Mike is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Orthopedic and Private Practice sections and is credentialed as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
Mike's first experience in physical therapy came as a patient with various running injuries. He was a varsity sprinter and hurdler in high school and competed for Northeastern's Track and Field Team as an undergraduate. Today, Mike continues to enjoy running and has completed two marathons. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and young twins, as well as hiking and reading.
